Audi presented at Tokyo Motor Show the Metroproject Concept.

Audi Metroproject

This has a hybrid engine: a 1.4 TFSi engine, with 150 hp and a DSG gear box; and an electric engine that develops 41 hp and 200 Nm for the rear bridge.

Audi Metroproject accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds and the fuel consumption is of 4.9 liter / 100 km. So, that means great performance with reduced consumption.

Audi Cross Cabriolet Quattro utilizes the A4 technical platform, but it comes with a lot of innovations and excellent technology. The German constructor wants to conquer a new category of buyers and wants to see the crowd reaction regarding this concept, which is a combination between a cabriolet and a SUV.

Audi Cross Cabriolet accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.2 seconds and has a top speed of 240 km/h. It consumes a medium of 7.3 litre (diesel) at 100 km.

The Audi R8 modified by APR was exposed at SEMA Tuning Show, in Michelin stand.

The list with the changes which were brought to this model isn’t available, yet, but I can bet that, besides the optical tuning, there is sure an increased power.

BMW M3 and Mercedes C63 AMG could have more buyers from their rival, Audi.

Why would this happen?

It seems that there are many rumors which tell that Audi RS4 will be out of production, by the end of 2007.
First out of production will be the Berlin model, then the Avant and then the coupe.
I think this is bad news for fans, which are going to suffer and the only thing that they can do is to buy other models from the same category, like: BMW M3 and Mercedes C63 AMG.
Or, if they can’t renounce of integral traction, the only variants are: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X or Subaru Impreza WRX STi.

The Audi A5 modified by ABT Sportsline has a special body-kit; final evacuation with 4 exits (2+2); 272 hp engine, instead of 240 hp, from the original model; adjustable sport suspension; braking system, with 380 mm discs; AR rims of 18 and 20 inches. Interesting tuning.

Nothelle, the German tuner known by its tuning changes to Audi, created an Audi TT with 520 horse power under its hood.
Nothelle changes are: Nothelle aerodynamic kit, 255/30 R20 tires, 20 inch rims, model NOVEDRA IX, sport arches, better suspension, 3.2 V6 twin turbo engine, 520 hp and 635 Nm, maximum speed of 308 km/h.
